Breakdown Lane

A little while ago I started drawing quick and messy comics on my Twitter, and I should probably put those here at some point.

These are the ones I've done so far (more after the break).

This may be a thing I do. Hopefully.

Haven't put this up here yet. This is my latest part for the interactive comic, part 8.

Interactive Comic Thingamahickey 2 part 5

I just drew the fifth part of our second interactive comic.

Here's my part. Since it doesn't give a lot of room for good enough reference, I uploaded sketches for the airboat thing and our yet unnamed grumpy pilot.

The Interactive Comic Thingamahickey 2

A small group of us has started up an interactive comic, in which we piece together a comic one page at a time. This is the second time we've tried this, and since the first time was a lot of fun, we're hoping this time it'll get rolling as well!

If anyone's interested, the hub blog can be found here:
http://thingamahickey.blogspot.com/

You can also follow the comic's Twitter (@thingamahickey), or join the Google discussion group (whether or not you're a contributor!) here:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/thingamahickey

We're hoping to have a lot of fun with this, and any support is welcome and appreciated!

Doodles 16

Doodles 16
Doodles 24 01.01

I've been quiet on the drawing front lately. Been busy and/or unmotivated.
These are a bunch of generic doodles. I've been trying out my Fujitsu tablet PC I got recently (it's really great for sketching!).
Made using: SketchBook Pro and a Fujitsu tablet PC

TAoH: The Aerobaton-- 003: Follow Your Nose

003: Follow Your Nose

The third Aerobaton comic. Done really fast (if you can't tell by looking at the backgrounds).

I'm still looking for ideas on how to pretty up the format (how to display the logos and text around the comic better to distract less).

Made using: Flash and a tablet.

TAoH: The Aerobaton-- 002: No Suit for You

 002: No Suit for You

Anyone who comes in here and tells me Link is ten can **** off.
Hooray for more copying and pasting! Well hey, these are budget comics, so I'm trying to make them fast. As a result they're really sloppy and not too great to look at. Oh well.

The Adventures of Heroes: The Aerobaton

Well, I might as well use this blog for something. I'm still deciding what to do with it, so there's not really any content here (for that, go to the links on the side). But I figure I might as well make an update anyway.

This is an idea for a series of gag strips that would follow the story of the Wind Waker. I wanted some way to make myself try to draw more, and even though this probably isn't a good idea and is way too high of an expectation for me to do consistently, I thought to do a bunch of gag comics. I figured I don't really draw enough Zelda stuff, so I devoted this one entirely to the Wind Waker, which doesn't get as much love as it deserves.

001: Wake it or Break it

This one really isn't funny or anything, I'm just testing it out, basically trying out the format and seeing how fast I can crank one of these out. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions, specifically about the format that would make it easier to view? That's the kind of thing I want to iron out right away.
Oh yeah, the other thing is I'm sparing everyone the watermark. A watermark across a whole comic would be entirely ridiculous.

I've added a page that is going to contain links to all the comics as they come over to the right.

As far as the rest of the blog goes, I'll work on it. I may just be updating with these comic pages for now. We'll see.
